Seomoz Page Strength (A new example "pathetic")

    We're always working to make the tool better, but it's definitely an uphill struggle. The data fetches that we make often return with inaccurate or incomplete data, and take far longer than we'd want, which ties up the reporting system for other users.

    As for the factors themselves, I'm still a pretty strong believer in the signals they send. Alexa, DMOZ, Wikipedia, Del.icio.us combined make up less than 15% of the score, so even though they're included, we don't weight them much because, as you've noted, Freewebspace, they're not of fantastic quality.

    how often does the report updates

    because www.idk.in still shows pr 0.5 and its abt 3 days now ??

    if you do n't weigh them then you have only Yahoo back links and Google's PR to count?


    I see a major co-relation between Yahoo back links and Google's PR in Page strength!
