    There is so many ways to increase traffic. Obviously PPC (Pay per click) is one option, but there are so many others like forums posts back to your site (well done you did this one). Try free classified ad sites, article directories, podcasting, video, etc.

    If you are going to write cool posts on your blog, make sure that you're present on these 3 blog networking sites:

    1). MyBlogLog
    2). BlogCatalog
    3). Explode

    I'll also recommend visiting high traffic blogs related to your niche and leave comments. One more thing.. Spend some time being social. Create your profiles on cool social networking sites and promote your blog on these sites. You should also submit your blogs to blog directories.

    If these things don't help, try AdSense and similar PPC advertising services.

    To increase traffic for your blog you can do link exchange, forum post, directory submission and article submission.

    Link Exchange with Blog who already has a PR
    going your blog everytime you'll update or post
