haha those trades are so bogus sure they're attractive for LA, because they're getting too generous of trades... Utah was better than LA this year, so why would they give away their franchise players for one player in Kobe who achieved less than the jazz? i dont see a deal with phoenix or chitown going down either
Kobe should stay where he is now...but if they will trade him, it should be Pistons! i love that team!
So what would the trade be? Would this be the opposite of the Grant Hill for Ben Wallace and Chuckie Atkins (who later was part of the Rasheed Wallace trade), a "star" for a couple of utility players? Would Detroit end up with two Mr. Big Shots? I think the team mentality and good locker room in Detroit wouldn't permit such a trade.
Well how about Kobe for Tay, Rip, and Carlos Delfino. It works salary capwise but I am not sure how it work for team chemistry and his SoCal family. And the Lakers would be in worse shape as they don't have a Chauncy to run the show with Tay and Rip.
Shuffle the letters in retard and you get trader or trrade but not traitor or trade. I am not sure why I thought of this but there it is.
If Lamar gets healthy enough, and they train Brown pretty hard, get a legitimate point guard like steve nash and I think this could be a winning LA team...
if kobe wants to be traded then be it... but the Lakers must have at least two good players in exchanged...
Hey, apparently there's a 24 second video of Kobe swearing at the Lakers' organization and players floating around now. http://www.hoopsvibe.com/nba-blog/the-kobe-bryant-video--watch-a-short-preview-ar44271.html ^ Short preview of it.
BUT, if you factor what ESPN said this am, that the video was shot in late May after the Lakers got tossed from the playoffs... chances are he said things out of frustration?
Portland traded Zach Randolph, Dan Dickau and Fred Jones to New York for Steve Francis and Channing Frye Warriors have agreed to acquire F Jason Richardson from the Bobcats for the rights to F Brandan Wright, the Warriors' first-round pick in the 2007 draft. Seattle traded All-Star Ray Allen and the 35th pick to Boston for the No. 5 pick, Delonte West and Wally Szczerbiak. The Celtics picked Georgetown forward Jeff Green at No. 5 for Seattle. Seattle will get a future second-round pick from Boston.
I just caught up with Kobe outside the Newport Coast Pollo Loco. He started ranting about management. I said "hey can I get a quick pix" and I accidentally took a video for about 30 seconds. I'll be posting a one second preview of it at www.my-million-dollar-video-clip-for-sale.com.
