My speed is fast but it takes 4 to 5 minuets to load the messenger. It should go faster since it only 6months old. Anyway, that gives me enough time to get my coffee in the morning so it all works out.

my pc scans the boot sector with an antivirus program before starting so takes a little longer, i think 4 minutes startup is worth the protection of the HDD and bios

i only ever restart/shut down my pc once every 2-3 weeks, unless a windows update makes it do it while i sleep or i'm out.
if you dont turn the pc off, you dont have to wait for it to boot lol
so 4 minutes every 2-3 weeks is cool, i hit start/restart and go make a coffee by the time the coffee is ready, so is the pc
multi tasking, being female to, you should know how to multi ;)
