I have a problem with logging into gmail with one of my laptops: I get this error: Google Error Server Error The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds. However, when I login to my other laptop it works fine.. (they're both using different internet connections) Would this be a browser or connection error?
I just checked and it worked fine for me. It must be a computer problem. Try shutting down and rebooting. It could also be a setting if you are using IE. The last automatic update I got for IE messed up my settings and blocked some of my pages from loading. I had to reset the security settings.
Okay I tried it again in both of my laptops using the SAME wireless connection and it doesnt work it worked a few hours ago!!!! It must be the connection??
Yea it sounds like it. I can't tell you about wireless connection because I am still in Dial-Up hell. I guess you just have to wait a few hours and try again.
IT just happened.. because I logged into my gmail fine a few hours ago.. I'll keep trying, thought I wonder if it's a security issue from my wireless?
I guess You should tell the google guys at google groups(discussion site of google).I have seen similar problems there. Also you may search your problem on google SE.I have seen similar problems being solved on google groups Hope this may help. Regards, The RoyalSeo
clear history, cookies and the usual stuff, i would also make sure you only connect with one pc at a time, maybe google has something that blocks connections from 2 different ip#s at the same time. try with both IE and FF
Thank Samantha coincidentally its working now and one of my laptops is shut off not sure if that was the solution or not but regardless it works now!
i remember i had a problem like that a few times over the last 2-3 years with gmail, so i know that fixes it. you dont get the red top right "loading" image and then that page about try again in 30 seconds, i just clear everything and it works after that. glad to help.
Its a browser error. Try on a different browser and see what happens. If you get the same error, then theres is something wrong with your connection or connection settings.
A few minutes ago it didn't work in Firefox, Opera and IE. Works in all three now. POP3 is working too and so is Google Talk.
