Ok, I want to offer all my clients a website. My clients are startups and other business' that doesnt have a website. I want to keep this as low cost as possible for them.

What is the best hosting package to get to have my main sites along with all my clients websites?

Well you could go the route of a reseller account which allows you to create multiple normal hosting accounts. This would be great if you wanted to charge your clients a fee to host thier site on your account. Or you could go the route of just recommending them a host to use.

ok, I know I want to get a reseller account. Could you give me some suggestion on the best and most affordable.

Most I see here usually have severe downtimes and I don't want to have disgruntled clients.

Agread, Reseller accounts are perfect, You get allocated space, say 10GB, You can make however many accounts you need to make say 10 with 1GB each, You will get set ammounts of Bandwidth per month, Say 100GB Per month, 10GB per customer (Devided)

I have some Reseller plans, PM me.

Since you already know that you need a reseller account, could you tell us what your requirements are ? How many clients you expect ? OR what space / bandwidth you need ?

    How about..
    Space: 5000 MB
    Bandwidth: 50 GB
    Price: $24.95
You will be able to create unlimited accounts with this. You can set the limits on each plan you create. You will be getting unlimited databases, emails, FTP accounts etc.
Latest version of Cpanel / WHM will be provided.

I would think a shared reseller account would be a great start for you and your clients. Can you tell us your budget and requirements and what not that you need?

    Thanks

As other people have stated, you could get a reseller account. But if you don't want to charge them, you could go for a "normal" shared hosting account that supports unlimited (or a lot) of domains, such as DreamHost, CirtexHosting and the other big boys.

Well I'd love to make the suggestion of trying out Hawk Host. The prices obviously are not the $1/yr or $20 life time accounts you can find on digitalpoint. But we've actually be running for 2+ years now offer a service level agreement so you know what you're owed if we ever do not meet 99.9% uptime. So if you're at all interested check out our reseller plans page.

Now for someone other than us well I've always thought HostGator and their owner tends to be a nice person from what I've seen on various forums. A large company but he still takes the time to respond to concerns and such.

I suggest doing yourself and your future clients a favour by going with a quality reseller. Going with a non reliable provider will reflect bad on you and your business.

An account that is $12/yr and on top of that unmetered (may as well be called unlimited) space and bandwidth that is to be expected. There is no unlimited hard drive server and bandwidth does not come in forms of unlimited either. You can have set pipe speeds depending on where you purchase them but that's not an unlimited pipe so it will get flooded out once there is enough yearly accounts to sustain the costs.

Just my thoughts though, too be good to true tends to bite you in the ass eventually especially in web hosting where no one seems to be a legally registered business and are not accountable at all.

You will need a reseller account, but if you truly want to be dedicated you should get a VPS or Dedicated Server - these are expensive and you can think about upgrading later.

Also, the offers that you see on eBay or DigitalPoint which come at truly cheap prices, think twice. I'm not saying all of them are valid, but imagine the great loss that the webhost would be making if he supplied that cheap hosting and had to run a server, which costs a minimum of $89/month.

Furthermore, there is NO SUCH THING as unlimited web hosting space - this is not possible and when your host makes such promises, it's only going to lead to downtime caused by you or some other user who thinks he has unlimited hosting. Every HDD has a limited amount of space in it, and every server can only load so many HDD's...

That being said, Sixty6 Hosting has been in the business for 4+ years (previously known as CP Hosts) and we offer quality cPanel reseller plans that would easily allow you to create accounts for your customers. We also have a good support desk with quality live support as well:

You usually don't need a host to create resellers if you have the permissions...
