i am from india.I want to verify my paypal account.for that i want to use hdfc bank's netsafe card.in netsafe there is credit card as well as debit card.which one can be useful to verify paypal account?is it netsafe credit card or netsafe debit card?

i am no sure about the "netsafe" thing, but i did my verification ith a CC and as far as i remember their terms and condition you will have to verify through CC and thy will send you the verification code i your CC bill

If you have that you can verify your paypal account in minutes and your limit will be lifted easily!

you can use netsafe creditcard for verify paypal.i dont think debitcard can be usefull to make transactions or for verification.thats what i found with indian debit cards. else US/UK debitcard users use thier debitcard for verification .and transactions

Laxmi, use the Netsafe CC and not the DC!

I have used my CC to verify and its the exact process as SEOIndian explained earlier.

They send the verification code in your billing statement, you need to verify that in order to get verified.

netsafe card will be generated by existing hdfc's credit or debit card.by having existing debit card if i generate netsafe debit card will it verify paypal account?does it have global validity?

Fistly, let me inform you that I am from Mumbai, India.Now when I wanted to verify my credit card, all I did was:
1)I visited my HDFC Bank and applied for a credit card.
2)Once I received it, i then visited paypal.com and entered my credit card number.
3)After that I was suppose to get the vcc number once paypal tries to withdraw less than 2 $ through my credit card, just for verification.
4) Once the less than two dollar transaction took place successfully,I then called the HDFC Bank customer care phone number and asked them to read out my latest bank transaction which would be obviously regarding the paypal transaction.Now along with the transaction details, she read some code numbers which I took note of it and then
5)When I visited paypal.com , I entered the vcc code number in the required vcc field box on the paypal site.
6)Once the vcc number matched, within seconds, I got my paypal verified.

Instead of calling your Bank's customer care phone number for getting the vcc code, you can also get the same code on your monthly bank statement through postal mail, but for that you will have to wait for a month. Calling customer care is the fastest step.

Indian Debit Card will never work with Paypal only CC will work.

 

even i don't want to buy vcc because in my view anthonyn is right.after verifying my account with vcc if paypal asks bank my statement then i would land in big trouble

 

Use credit card. Not netsafe but use plastic card. Sometimes, they do ask proof for ownership of card and ask a copy of CC. From where you'll get that?

 

after verifying with netsafe why would they ask cc proof?that is non-sense.paypal should introduce more ways to verify their account
