1. I love the textbooks in the yellow background, but the titles of the textbooks that you use must be in English.

2. The color of the links on the yellow background should not be white. Please make those links the same reddish color of the menu bar.

3. All of the text (including menu text) that I see will be editable by me, right?

1. I'd like to see "academic" photos (students studying, books, campus, etc.) collaged into the entire header.

2. The PayPal logo is great.

3. That blue decoration should be carried over to other parts of the page. If not, it just looks like one out-of-place decoration that doesn't tie-in to anything. I'm looking for flowing designs with interrelated features/colors/images/concepts throughout.

4. I don't like the "order" button. I'm not sure how, but it needs to be different.

The bottom line is that everything has to tie together.

1. DustyDog, your submission is currently 1024 wide. As stated in the contest description, it must be 800 wide. So, I've cut an equal amount off of each end of the header to make the page 800 wide. Here it is in acceptable width:

2. "Essays's" in the handwriting image should be changed to "Essays"

3. I think there's too much empty black space in the header. Can you collage together some academic photos into the header? You know, like photos of college students studying, textbooks, a university campus, etc.

After these minor adjustments, it will be VERY nice.

3. In the header, can you please add a photo of a "distant university campus" between the logo and the girl in order to fill-in some of the empty space?

There are four REALLY nice submissions. After I receive the edits from DustyDog and Design4u, I will have a hard time deciding who gets prize 1-4!

 

Regarding the width of my site. The actual content is made for 800px wide, but the header background repeats across the page, regardless of the resolution. Therefore, the site will still look normal on higher resolutions, which is about 60% of people who browse the internet.
