Im wondering generally what happens when you come out of the sandbox. 1.What did you rank while in it(did your ranking fluctuate) 2.Did you come out after a google update 3.Did you come our gradually or did it all the sudden pop up on the first page. 4.Did you know that you would rank the first page when coming out of the sandbox(ie. have the same amount of links or more as competitor and optimized better). anything else you guys can think of to would be great!
It took me about a 1.5 to 2 years to come out with my one main website, it was a big keyword. The closest I got was to about #21 - never got to the first page though. My website is now at about #100. Other people will have different stories though.
One story; I started a blog, built content & lots of links. It wasn't ranking for ten keywords that I was targeting at all. Then it jumps out for top 20 for all of those, and they are still there now, but stronger. Second story; Built links aggressively for a clients site (brand new), some good links etc. Ranked top 50 for many of its keywords/phrases then they all disappeared after four or five months. Now it's sitting in 300-700's for many of it's keywords. It'll pop out of it someday soon Theres so many different stories etc that people could tell you! Remember, the sandbox is not only a filter but it depends on how trust worthy your website is to Google. Do the right things, and you'll be fine
my site was on 15th-20th page from time to time for about a year or so. 2 days ago it jumped to page 1 for my primary keywords and page 1-2 for my other (relevant) keywords my advice: just keep building quality/relevant links to your website and you'll be fine, eventually
I started my website by building keyword enriched pages, then went on a month long linking campaign. I would say about 2 months later I suddenly noticed that my site had jumped to number 4 from 100 something for the main keyword I was trying for. It just takes patience and lots of links.
in the last week ive popped up on 2-3rd page for my top 3 keywords...I think i may be coming out of it....Our traffic has doubled as well.
well to me ,, my site was on suplimental few days before ... then after many discussions i came to know.. that i have to buy some backlinks to get google's attension on the page going in suplimental at the moment. So i start making link exchanges or buying links. now my site is totally out of it.
seems im sitting on page 3 now for my top keywords so I may need to buy some more quality links and submit more articals...but im pretty sure that im mostly out of the sandbox.
