I've read a lot of great books, but the ones I remember are: The Pendragon series, Harry Potter, and The Golden Compass.
It's all about hacking, phreaking, writing viruses and other divient behaviour with computers. I found the stories rivating, and couldnt put the book down once I had started reading it. Brew
I used to love the books by Robert Sheckley and Philip Jose Farmer.. haven't read a book all the way thru since the Da Vinci Code tho.
don't have a particular favourite, but love to read anything by virginia woolf, milan kundera, kafka, huxley, hardy, and emile zola. also just love to read, period.
yeah that was a great book... i like the story... but i guess they can't make a film of that... it's scenes are all taken inside the vatican city which is i guess impossible to have a shooting for that film and i think the Catholic Church won't allow that to happen... anyway my favorite books are the Harry Potter Series, Little Prince and Art of War...
But wouldn't they make a replica one to film in?? I s'pose it won't have the same affect in a way. Your definatly right with the Catholic Church. Probably would be a huge uproar about it, if it were to happen. Good story anyways. =]
The entire Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Very long, but well worth the read. By far the best books I've ever read. Also a fan of Lit Fiction: Catcher in the Rye, 1984, Of Mice & Men, etc. Anything by John Grisham and Dean Koontz somehow always find their way onto my bookshelves, too.
The Flashman Papers by George Macdonald Fasier. By far the best books I've ever read, not to mention the most amusing!
