Spend the $300 on 5 different good directories or Yahoo?

    With the Page Strength tool on the fritz... I'd say go for 4 big strong deeplink enabled ones.

    see if the category page you would submit to has a PR worth $25 a month....

    You should not buy links for the sake of increasing your PR. Think about the other benefits as well.

    If u r ready for full 300$ then good deep link directories with high strength & sponsor some templates which gives nice links... & also buy SITEWIDE links....

    When buying the links, you should do it for a few reasons. It should be bought to help increase your PR so you, in turn, can sell links. But, it should also be used to help you rank better for good keywords. I'd go for a few strong directories over one from Yahoo any day.

    No sitwides. HE wants to spend 300$ total I'm assuming. Sitewides are like a nicotine craving, they keep coming back and back and back and back, so a 25$ sitewide is really ----> 300$ which is exactly the price of yahoo. I'd rather have a yahoo listing than a sitewide on abcdirectory.biz :D

    I suggest you to invest money into directories like Romow, eWebPages, Directory Dump etc instead of submitting into Yahoo!
