Really hard to say. I"d like banners lol but no i think the details page is their "Holy Page" they paid for that page we should let them "have that page". If someone goes to "that page" lets give the submitter every benefit possible.

Categories are a different story though!

yeah that is one thing i don't like ....

footer thumbnails ... you should pick b/w the two ....

sitewide text links or footer thumbnails ....

a banner rotating or one banner is fine as long as it is not like taking over the page !!

I just don't understand why there should ever have to be a debate and/or conversation over matters like this.

It is obviously a directory owners decision, and one in which should NEVER be influenced by what another thinks.

Noone can say anyone 'got it right', because this is purely individuality based.

you have hit the nail on the head an0n, im not saying that because i started the other thread either, if i do go ahead with it, it doesn't mean it was right but i guess it doesn't mean it was wrong either.

I guess if my directory gets boycotted in the future then i may know why, i guess i can try though, take a chance and all that.

    very well said indeed :)

it is a discretion of the owner, but if you agree and/or share the same opinion in certain perspective

you can say got it right because you agree with it ...

it is an opinionated thread ... and what one person says is an opinion so if he says somebody got it right that means ..

He Thinks Somebody Got it Right

Do you honestly think those thumbs are going to affect your pagerank?

I am going to absolutely love hearing this one from everyone's view.
Then I'll provide an example of the opposite of what I know everyone is going to claim.

No I don't think it will affect my pagerank if anything if the sites have pr the will only make it rise in pr for one, I even kept one of yours on there in appreciation of all your hard work you did for me

That is a BIG NO NO NO

if they paid ya you can't stick no follow unless you mention that in your terms before they paid.

yeah any other free links you are giving out feel free to no follow like you xml valid button ... or css valid button
