[MOD] PHPLD v3.2 - Upgrade listing to featured (Very Basic)

Hi,

Ive put a bit of code together to create a very basic upgrade to featured listing mod.

Great way to improve your featured listings and earnings potential!

(simply click on a detail page of a regular listing and featured listing to see upgrade and no pugrade available options)

Note: This mod has only been tested with V3.2 (it may work with others). You are welcome to edit/modify the code etc if you can improve it.

How to set price difference ? From admin panel ?

 

To change the price you need to edit the paypal "value" line which you add to the 'detail.tpl'. Its not connected to the admin panel in any way, as i say its very basic but may be useful for some

This is like in title: Very Basic.
Apart from payment this will not upgrade listing to featured automatically.
You will need to do it manually in your Admin.
And because the link has already status 'active' you will not find the link among those to approve. You will have to look for it in full links list.
The will have to check 'featured' and set expire date (if using). Still it won't be as should be for real featured link.
There is another mod for that but it works very similiar, maybe even in simple way.

Once I made real mod for that. Able to update from free to regular, from free to reciprocal (if using), from regular to featured and all goes autmatically, so link owner can see his link updated just after payment and we have to do nothing in Admin or database.
Also pricing and all paypal details for upgrade link is set automatic.

Think should finish it and show it to the world.

 

That would be great darge, i would be very interested in a mod like that from you. I use your other mods and highly recommend them. As i said about this one its was never meant to be earth shattering just a very basic adjustment that might be useful to some
