I don't think there is one yet, but I guess they will most likely release one. Ask at the modification section of http://www.phpbb.com/community/

Just one question, but do you really think anyone with a valid vB license will switch to phpBB? I don't think so. I think phpbb is good, but definitely not better than vB.

There's a lot of mess at phpbb these days that needs to be cleared up. I love phpBB but the way things are going at the moment (developers giving up), things don't look too bright to me.

Nice recipe forum ! Does it get indexed well ?

I downloaded phpbb3 to install it on my local machine to give it a try. I created the admin account but if I logged off and logged back in it says I don't have sufficient permissions to go to the control panel.

I'm running an LAMP package on windows for my home machine.

Am I doing something wrong ?

I also downloaded SMF. It was incredibly simple and intuitive. I'm not crazy about the way SMF rewrites the SEO friendly URLs but the mod at webmasterstalks looks pretty good.

Was that the founder account you created the forum with? Or an admin account you created then gave permissions to? If it was the founder account then it shouldn't do that. If you created an admin account, you probably didn't set the admin permissions correctly. phpbb3 is different in that there is no concept of an admin like in 2.x. Admins in the new version can have limited permissions just like anyone else so you have to be sure to set the permissions carefully.

I actually just tried it both ways. I get the message
Access to the Administration Control Panel is not allowed as you do not have administrative permissions.

Maybe I'll poke around the PHPBB3 boards or I'll try to install on a spair domain on a real Apache/Unix server.

How about the spambot, coz when I'm using phpbb 2.0 I must install mod BotStopper, to stop the spambot.
