    Hello

    I am currently working 9-5 and am deadly bored of it but it does pay the bills.

    I was wondering if people could offer me their advice on starting up an internet business and working from home.

    Obviously I would need to start creating enough income to replace my current job and hopefully build a larger income as time passes.

    Any advice would be great!
    Thanks

    What type of internet business do you seek to start? Internet business is a broad term that incorporates businesses of various kinds. You need to be ready to sacrifice a lot of "free" time. Start by reading this forum at every spare moment you have.

    Yeh I already have a website in my sig.
    I know what I'm doing in terms of coding or building websites and SEO etc. I just don't really know how to go about being a freelance helper in SEO and building websites etc. I'm slowly building my website and it sells ebooks about how to make money online. I am making a small amount I just know if I went full time I could make more but I'm wondering if it is possible to make enough part time to quit my job and then go full time if you get what i mean???

    Thanks for all your replies!

    Really depends on the bottom-line amount of money you need to make to pay the bills each month. The way I see it, there will always be people with big ambitions and either a lack of time or a lack of expertise; so being able to code, design or any other specialist activity that caters to that market is pretty much a money-maker.

    You need to look at what you can do, who you can do it for, and how much you can charge for it - make sure you do your research before jumping in with two feet =)

    Great advice! Thank you!

    I am currently half way through a web design course with the open university. Hoping to finish it this year. I will be a certified Web Application Developer.

    For a basic website how much would you pay for a small say 5-10 page website that is fully coded and you would just need to upload it?

    Honest opinions please! Thanks!

    How much free time do you have to put towards an internet business and which aspects of it are you interested in? It's not hard to make money if you know where to look but it can seem impossible if you follow the bad paths people will suggest. We are considering offering a school of sorts on this type of thing but it's so time consuming.

    Maybe you need to find some friends as your partners;
    one man can't handle everything as I suppose.

    It all depends on your skills. You could even earn by taking article writing orders. You could also employ one assistant. You could do the article. He or she could do the typing work.
