Google Page Rank Update Time

One of the most common questions on any webmaster forum involves someone asking, “When is the next Google update?”

Well, Here is my answer to your question,

statisticlly, next google page rank update is around 28, July 2007.

The last two google page rank update time are 27/Jan, 28/Apr, respectively.

 

you can't predict anything with Goooogle!

they are unpredictable!

 

I called Google this morning and spoke with Matt Cutts, he said it will be July 30th, I have a direct number to his bat phone.

Did he say what time it would be? I might take an early lunch and be ready for the traffic boom when I finally get a PR11.

 

I'd be carefully using only 3 data values to make a statistical prediction! It probably will be about then, but no-one can be sure of the date.

 

i expect the pr update at the end of july but it's difficult to give and exact like you

 

Here is a PR question from a relative newbie (read - do it yourself webmaster).

In the buy/sell/trade forum here there are all kinds of people touting that while their site doesn't have much (or any) content it will be between a PR4 to PR6 in the next update. How is this possible? I realize that there is a lot of puffing there, but am I missing something completely? My site has been online since 1999 and I have a PR6. Over the last 6 months or so I have started taking SEO seriously (but on my own) with great results.

You can use google.com/webmasters to check a more current estimate of your page rank at the next update.

It will show what % of your webpages are 'low/medium/high' ranking. You can be reasonably sure that low= 1-3 (at least), medium=4-7, high=8+

Mine shows 22% medium, 25% low and the rest not assigned.

I can assume from this, that my current PR is 5/6, because as google states, my highest ranking webpage is my index page, other pages on my site also are classified 'medium' meaning my index page rank would have to be 5/6 or even 7 but I doubt that.

does anyone know when google will update backlinks? or has it happend already?

 

some of you might remember... nah i don't use an avatar, low impact... anyway i pretty much nailed the last update, my prediction this time is an EARLY update/export, first week of july.
