Feed count is confusing me

I check my feed stats through feedburner.com once every other week or so, and I'm confused by what I see.

Why do my subscribers go from around 2 per day, to 10 per day sporadically? I was under the impression that subscribers were long term? Perhaps these are just bots?

    Let me know :D

    Hey there,
Feedburner updates daily, but if I'm subscribed to your reader and I'm not actively reading feeds that day, it won't count me in as a subscriber.
That's why on week-ends you might get low feed counts.

    Hope this helps,

My feed count fluctuates during the week. Weekends are usually the lowest. Picks up on Monday and then moves up and down during the week.

That's because there are many users that browse from work. No browsing, no reading, no subscribers :)

That does help! I've noticed this too and was pretty curious as to the reason myself. Worth a green.
