How to add video to blog?

How do you add video's to a blog. I have try many ways but can not figure this out?

If you are posting video's from youtube then this widget does the trick

 

You can see a demo of that widget in action on my blog.
I highly recommend it. It's visible but not intrusive and only takes up very little room.

 

I uploaded the plugin but it would not work the activation would not take. Any suggestions?

 

I see a video in your post at the bottom. You mean the widget is not working?

 

No its not working? It will not activate.

 

I just copy the embed code that is associated with the youtube video and copy it in my blog.

Same here, seems to be the easiest and fastest way to do it.

Sometimes You Tube videos stall out. They don't always load quickly or properly.
Make sure that you have ALL of the code, sometimes the "copy" will leave off the last digit or 2.

MyTube is a wordpress plugin that allows you to have a youtube gallery in a post or page. You also have the ability to display random thumbnails in your sidebar etc. You can embed a specific video in your post or page without having to write the html for the flash viewer.

I learnt that for those using blogger now can upload your vids into your posts via draft.blogger.com. Sweet.
