Microsoft to buy Yahoo?

    This could be really bad news for Google.

    I hope it happens. Google needs a wake up call and this could definitely be it.

    I remember hearing whispers of this a few months ago but the deal fell through. Is it in the works again?

    It won't be able to beat up google

    So it's not a good idea the only winer will be the yahoo owners

    um...i heard fox was going to take a decent chunk of yahoo in exchange for myspace
    but.......really... i think yahoo will have to find a core business model and sell off all of it's unrelated parts (idea via techcrunch)

    It's true that Google needs a wake up call, but if Microsoft buys Yahoo the market will be shared between 'two giants', while we need competitiveness at the market for new search technologies advancement. I've read an article about newly launched incubator of search engines - OMFICA that tries to create free competitive market for new search technologies. I think it's a good mission and hope that it will succeed.
