How many of you make a living off the internet and how much?

are you from IRS? seriously, it really depends on what you know and how much effort you use to make it work. However, most people are not making $ from online business. Top 2% guys making 98% $ of the internet.

hmmm.. We started back in 2003, and each year I expect no less than 150k-200k growth if that gives you an ideas. As for how much I make now of days, thats not really a public thing for me.

However the key to it is to love what you do, and go beyond what anyone else is doing in your market(I could type out a 500 word post on that topic alone.). Knowing the right markets is the key, and know when to get in or out like anything else in life is everything.

OMG where you live? i make that in 2 days from adsense alone

 

I make about 500 to 800 per month.
I have been in this business since Dec, last year.
I started to get about $20 a month revenue from adsense, and stuff like affiliates, now im getting better and my revenue its getting bigger

 

i m having 5k/month from internet marketing, marketing new products for my clients. and we are increasing day by day. i had started magicsolv.com with $50/month project in aug 2004. now we are offering some good quality it enabled services to our clients.

 

I wouldn't say I make my entire living off the Internet but I can usually make whatever money I need off the Net by posting, SIG links, adsense, and the like.. not rich, but all my bills are paid.

Other than the Net, I only work 20 hrs a week doing food prep.

In 2006 i made $6k to $8k every month but 2007 is lucky for me . Now i am earning $11k to $14,610 last month. I under estimated eBay but from the Feb-07 i started selling digital item on eBay and now i am a power seller there and it adds up to $3.5k to my existing earning from affiliate marketing , Adsense [very low but , roughly $1400 after arbitraging].

I ususally sell my own ebook and report through adwords and other PPC as well as buying banner from popular forum of the niches. Oflate my VOIP guide and 'Art Consulting' online business has exceeded all other earnings. I transacts through paypal so money come instantly to me. Thats good. I cant wait too much for snail mail checks.

 

I wanted to find out the numbers and see how many of people here did make a living off the internet. If you even bothered to read the first post then you would know what the point of all this was, and as for the medication part, it was quite obvious you were trying to provoke me into saying something that would get me an infraction. I'm being totally factual in this. This is not a flame. You are simply a moron and all of what you have posted in this thread, is totally null and invalid in any real sense. Business 2.0 recently ran an article on Ebooks (http://tinyurl.com/2qry7b) Aaron Wall from SEObook.com supposedly makes 300K a year, but keep in mind it took several years of working his @ss off to get there. Also note that Aaron does SEO consulting, which could account for part of the income, although the story clearly implies the income is from the Ebook.

That kind of success in such a major magazine will surely attract attention and competition to the ebook market.

 

The amount you can earn online is unlimited. You can earn $1 and then you can earn billions. The only way you will do this is to put the work and effort into it. That is how so many people fail. The people that earn the most and make a living are the ones that actually puts hours of work into it and want to do it as a hobby aswell and not for just a quick buck. The people that fail are the ones the purchase a site and do a few link exchanges and expect to be as big as Google the week lately.

The more time you put into anything online and offline, the more you will get out of it. The more people that work for you, the more you will make back normally, unless you over pay them. lol

 

So far, almost 11K this month.

 

I made $124 last month and I am very happy because I have to pay only around 30 bucks for my host and domains, and still get $96 to put in my pocket.

 

A lot more than anyone here apparently... Of course I own an internet company with 11 employees so its not really fair or accurate to give you any numbers.

John269 - im thinking your are exagerating a bit - I think you can count on one hand how many people have made billions on the internet. - Lets see there is Larry, Sergey... who am I missing? how many people divied up the youtube 1.6 billion?

 

What is the best advice, anyone can provide us to earn this much amount in a calender month. Looking for the suggestions from all the DP members.

Its nice that you have shared your experience with us. But, what is the approached you have used to put this much profit out of total earning. If you dont mind... please explain.

Work hard, work smart, never give up, and make something useful to others online, and market the hell out of it!

 

I don't make a lot online. But it really do varies.

As in Malaysia, if we manage to earn USD600. It would be a fresh graduate pay already. Therefore you could try quiting your daily job and work fulltime online. Which would give you a very high potential.

Most probably in US you will have to make like 2k-3k before you can quit your daily paycheck job
