Old news, i observed that many months ago But this is the first public announcement CONGRATS TO YOU DAN, IVS deserved this status and thanks xc06 for informing everyone http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=info+vilesilencer
I knew about it the day Aviva and SevenSeek got the Authority Site status.... anyways thanks for making it public
i think this got authority when alive got it ... that was on the previous update but its good that its announced once again
I've been here to long to be a noob, but just how do you determine or see that it has authority status?
You see that it's an authority because it has the four links like the attachment. It takes an authority to be an authority like IVS.
it's been some time now, i have seen those sublistings on vilesilencer some time back! anyways, congrats!
Interesting, when searching www.google.com from Australia, info.vilesilencer.com isn't listed as an authority site, I have to use proxify to see the sub-listings. First time I've seen geo-targeting come in to play on authority.
Congrats dan. You deserve this. He always try to provide good directories list at his info.vilesilencer Keep up good work.
Aviva,Alive, vilesilencer, the list of authority sites related with directory goes on...increasing This illustrates that Google pays more attention to quality directories!
I like the trend too, so the talk about google devaluing web directory listings could be all hot air and no fire
So perhaps Google do get something right from time to time ... an authority site that is an authority !
That depends on how they determine authority status. Is it an automatic thing which kicks in at a certain pagerank or count of inbound links for the entire site, or is it manual? I would suspect the former. But however they decided it, Google got it right this time.
