And I suppose you do know that it wasn't for oil?

d16man - the BBC is not like American networks, it doesnt have any advertisements at all and is a non-profit organisation. It is paid for by all UK people, they have no reason to lie. I think there are enough sources from people who were there (and lets face it you werent) that it is not pure speculation.

they have plenty of reason to spread OPINION, which is what they are doing...that is not lying. They are paid for just like our PBS, which is extremely liberal. They have to publish junk like this or else no one would ever watch them or read what they publish. Face, your source is biased, and doesn't present any FACT. Until you can give us that FACT, you only show how biased you also are.

In the article there are at least 3 witnesses who were involved with the US government who said that there were plans for Iraq's oil - what more do you need?

It is like me saying, prove to me with facts that the US didn't plan the 9/11 attacks. You can present witnesses that say otherwise and so can I. In the end it is all a matter of who you believe

only 3 witnesses?? Lets see....I can claim that I am the long lost child of someone famous and get attention and possibly some money out of it. That doesn't mean I am telling the truth. Your three witnesses just got a whole lot of press coverage and a made for TV movie...are you saying that they did it for the goodwill of the people? I doubt it. You want facts about 9/11, just search the forums. and it is all a matter of who you believe...you can either believe those that tell the truth, or those that come up with stupid conspiracy theories (ever wonder why they are called THEORIES???) that have no facts about them at all.

I wouldn't be too surprised if someone who believes that we invade oil-rich countries to protect the world from terrorism also believed that oil companies lobbied Congress to ban drilling by smaller competitors because they care about environment.
Nothing surprises me anymore as far as things that FoxNews victims believe in

A debate breaks out about oil oligarchies and all GTech can do is talk recipes and ask for facts from the other side. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

Just out of curiosity, is there anyone from US left who still supports this, if so what else would be needed to not support something done?

Btw, not to offend anyone but it's really distracting to see every thread, sooner or later, turning into an AGS vs. Gtech oil-wrestling, regardless from what the subject it is. Can't you guys avoid addressing each other so more non-personal talks might take place

I agree GTech and AGS should avoid speaking to each other - I think it puts others off from speaking about the real topic.

Good question though - do people in the US support the Iraq war?

ALL WARS ARE FOR NATURAL RESOURCEs. YOU CAN SUGAR COAT IT HOWEVER YOU LIKE. HISTORY SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.

MOST WAR AND REVOLUTION IS ABOUT EXCHANGING MASTERS.

PS: For some ignorant is bliss.

Aw, but see... it's come to the point now where we in the "Gtech gang" simply know we're right (no pun intended) and more correct in the conservative than the ignorant liberals in AGS' gang. We just make sense. They don't. They would never admit it, and they only deny it, and they never respond to your question directly (or else they seem to then turn it around against you) - so now I just ignore them and move on with my life.

What Iraq war? But, I do support the war against terrorism.

You are a matchmaker cupid, not a soothsayer. So start doing your job. :D

True. AGS and his group, ferret, etc, are all very content and happy just doing what they do best...

Get with the program chulium, I don't have a "gang" like GTech does (GTech Crazy Gang) and I'm certainly not a liberal. Come on man stop talking crap!

Ah, sorry - I'll stop sugar-coating my posts...

We have the other group, then, GAGS' kind, the ignorant socialists that support terrorists and have odd resemblances to Elvis. (They just won't go away!)

    There, that's better. :D

Cupid 100% agree. Most of the people that are blind supporters of any war, usually have a lack of knowledge when it comes to wars historically. Just talk to any history professor and they will tell you all u need to know about wars.
I wonder how our great country came to be? Anyone remember those americans indians? My thinking is that we took this land away from them through kindness and the preaching of freedom and democracy. Opps i just remembered, we didnt lol
