Directorydump is down?

It seems the site is down on my end. I wanted to check out an0n's bookmarking mod there but. Is anyone else having a problem or it's just me?

 

Problem here too... its resolving to http://www.activeweblinks.com/suspended.page/

He may be installing some mods on Directory Dump!

 

well, I PMed him. I hope he gets it. I have PMed him before for the DP owners survey but it seems he's busy or something, never got a reply

 

the site it is being redirected to is his as well.

 

It seems the bandwidth exceeded, do not worry, it would be back soon.

 

These things happen no cause for concern other than, the very temporary down period, sure to be corrected real soon

 

Same here. Its redirecting to active weblinks.. (who owns it ? )

 

I am sure the site will be online pretty soon.

I wonder what can be the cause of this.

an0n owns activeweblinks. Looks like his hosting acct got suspended and activeweblinks is his main domain..

 

not hacked and not down. an0n was just drinking beer with women and forgot to pay the hosting bill.

 

think its great that we have this community to lookout for each other

I hope he didn't forget to RENEW his domain

 

or he spent all of that $ on beer and honeys.....

who drinks beer these days anyway.

Dump is on my host gator reseller account which is more than adequate.

 

Probably HG suspended domain on account as the script was too heavy for their proccessors (their opinion).
AnOn - I had the same with my LinkForever.
HG suspended script and I had 20 hour battle with them.
Finaly they agreed to switch back directory script.
However I had to do many changes to the script, optimize some code for mysql, limit queries, etc.
I don't think it can be because of traffic.
I have another website on other HG acoount that generates 20 x more traffic then LinkForever.
No problem with it for last 2 years.
