Yahoo renting sub domains to affiliate sites

    While doing some research for a client today I was finding more and more Yahoo domains and sub domains filling up the UK search results for lots of competitive queries.

    Check this out they have rented an entire subdomain, its not even Yahoo branded.

    Can you imagine Google renting out a sub domain to spam Yahoo? How much would you pay for a top ranking insurance subdomain on Yahoo?:eek:

    That will not do much for Yahoo's integrity image if they do that on US search also

    I don't think you can, its for special partners I think.

    They would be worth a LOT though.:)
