Stop for a second. Imagine yourself in the OP's shoes. Is this a setup.. does she really like him or are his ex and her friend in on some sick twisted joke? Does he like her enough to go out with her.. maybe he still has feelings for his ex. What would be the consequences of going out with her, will his ex have a bitch and then make her friend dump him because its 'wrong for my friend to go out with my ex'?

Exactly. Lets analyse this: u like me? (omg he actually likes me) aww. (a gap filler) no way (omg he actually likes me) thats cool (gap filler again) u made my day (could be serious, could be kidding) - lol - (this to me is no good!) She could be making it up, or she could be serious. In saying that, you need to remember that if she is making it up, she is going to try and sound serious to make sure he buys it. that -lol- could either be out of nervousness and lack of assertiveness (akward akward... lets throw in a lol) or she is actually laughing and types it in. Those with self-esteem are usually the ones who won't, because they don't want their friend to get hurt (plus they know they can get another guy..) It's those with not much self-esteem that take the guy who is attracting them over the friends (behind their back ofc) I personally have a way with girls with not much self-esteem, purely for the fact I do and they see me as successful, intelligent, 'alpha' to sum it up. Flipside being all they want to do is use me in an attempt to lessen their own insecurities.
That's a pretty bad call lol. What do you do when something doesn't go as planned? You analyse it. What do you do when you want to sell a link? You analyse why people would buy it and you make sure you mention it. Everything gets analysed, it's what makes us better next time. And understanding, well...
