Guys,

I have lots of Myspace accounts that have high PR but with recent changes on Myspace, where they change any outgoing link to http://msplinks..... all the SEO benefit is gone. This is really annoying as now my accounts are useless for me.

Does anyone knows how to put direct links on myspace profiles?

if there is not nofollow on those link, you can make profit for seo aims

 

There isn't nofollow there. They redirect to the target website using 302 which is useless for SEO as well..

Thanks for the try. But it does not work. The only thing that this code does is that the whole page is clickable and goes to www.URLHERE.com. But if you actually see the url that is in the code then its msplinks.com again. I wish you've cracked it but unfortunatelly not.

 

Darn.
I just went through all my Myspace "spammer" accounts and they must've fixed that code. I was getting thousands of hits because the display picture would be a hot girl in a bikini and they'd click on it, but the div was over the whole window so they'd go to my site. I was getting thousands of hits too .

Thanks for the try. However, I know that existing accounts haven't been changed but if you try to update your profile now then your links will be coded (so be carefull

I just tried with a dormant account that i was going to kick off for seo purposes shortly. And for sure as shit the profile links now go through msplinks

Myspace are obviously on the case, in hindsight i should have got my finger out when they started adding msplinks to the comments pages.

I hope a fix may crop up in the future though i'm sure it will
