Two different options, three words each:

    - One Night Stand
    - Casual Sex Partner

Relationship is out of the question... unless you want drama, fights and hurt.

I wouldn't have thought a webmaster forum would be dealing with relationship advice lol. A forum such as this is a tad more appropriate

That's one of the major misconceptions that guys assume when a girl says they "like" them. It's quite funny :p saying like doesn't = sex lol

Do you know about meta-frames and frames? It's got to do with NLP (form of psychology)

Act as though she wants to win you over so you'll have sex with her. Keep that mindset and it will happen, whether she "likes" you in that way or not.

The "lol" on the end of her words would concern me a little. It might just be an attempt to lighten things a little, not have things seem to serious right away. But it could be she thought the whole situation just funny... a bit of a joke.

Take it slow and easy. I'm not sure I'd agree with acting as if you don't care. She might take that seriously and move on before you have a chance. But don't push it too fast, too much. See how things are. Are you on speaking terms with your ex? Was it a friendly break-up? Do you still have trust in what she says? If so, maybe she can tell you how her friend feels- and how she would feel about you and her friend getting together, and therefore how she might/might not respond or influence her friend's way of thinking on the matter.

If it was a bad breakup, then what she says won't necessarily be the truth, and she probably won't be going to bat for you. :)

Careful rochow, you'll corrupt the boy for life! At 18 he may not be old enough to have his illusions of women shattered!

She may have a liking for you and refrained from saying so due to your relationship. If you like her initiate the conversation or you may miss the buss!

    All the luck buddy!

Is he to make his emotional turmoil an excuse for the advancement!:p

    You must be a chick.

Like home made dirty movies?....how dare you :p, they're "too fragile" at this age. ////jokes.

    This thread resembles memories.:D

    More advice from me:
    - if you can't do the one night thing and accidentally fall for this girl, because of the hormones, be careful; some women/girls can be the devil sometimes and can turn you up-side-down emotionally. Do your research on this girl, what's she like, how's her rap sheet with relationships and everything that's to know about her.
Very important, be 2 seconds smarter and ahead of her, dominate her, show her you got guts. Once you accomplish that, you're good to go with this "friend of the ex".

On a side note, if this works and your ex realizes what a mistake she made, she might wanna get back to you, hence, your sweet, maybe first threesome :D...sounds good, doesn't it?
    Before somebody starts yapping about sex in yearly years, 18 is not bad, where there's love, there's fire :D, but be smart and use the rubber;

Don't take things too seriously, let this be a lesson for the future when relationships are more complicated and with more twist. live like a kid, you're only a kid once in a life time.

    my $ .02.

    Cheers.

thanks guys. i took your advice. but now she sent me an email directly asking me out. idk if i want to or not. i know i want to date her, but i want to stay on top, and make her feel like she is the inexperienced one here (bad explanation...but you know what i mean) i want to say no, but i dont want to say no 'forever' i want to let her know i might want to date her later (as in, in a few weeks) but i dont want to say it like that. what do i say?

    Disagreed.

    Agreed.

I sentence you to watch Cinderella or The Little Mermaid on a continuous loop. It'll help you stay out of touch with actual life.

    Agreed.

Agreed. This sounds like a rebound. Rebounds have like.. a 3% chance of being successful.

That sounds a little immature, but it could be just me. You want to make her feel inadequate? Sounds a little wrong.

Final verdict? It sounds quite alot like a rebound. I'd tell her that you're not ready since you just got out. Give her a time lapse, like a month or two.

No.. want he means is that he wants to be the man in the relationship. He wants her chasing him, not the other way around. being the experienced is part of that.

I see that as shallow if he's more concerned about "who's more experienced than who"...
