As if Andhra Pradesh has not seen enough, that we have more crap in Mumbai this year owing to the rains. It has been raining cats & dogs and what not in Mumbai since last couple of days.

Indeed, the monsoons have arrived. This is what happened last evening after heavy rains and downpours hit the city

    - Highest rains in Colaba area of Mumbai with 265.5 mm of rains (not confirmed but its somewhere arnd 250+)
    - Building collapsed in Grant Road area of Mumbai, 2 dead - 5 injured.
    - Over 45 deaths in the city within different areas.
    - Road and rail services hampered terribly.

Floods in most regions of Mumbai!

Meteorogical department has predicted atleast 24 hours more of heavy rain.

    Shit, this sucks!

I just came back from Dadar, the 1.5 hrs journey has made me very very tired first time in my life.. had gone to get my nani from the station. Cars closed down in the way, water is filled on the roads. You gotta see potholes n drive carefully.

Its raining like mad, you can hardly see anything while driving. I request all mumbaikars to fill water, charge ur battery, keep candles, food items, gas, medicines etc and all necessary items at home asap.

You all know how it rains in mumbai, be wise, be smart, prepare for the worse.

2 years ago on 26th July, 2005 ... Mumbai faced the worst flood of it's history.

The catastrophe seems to be pretty much repeating.

Wow, yes. Holidays are so important. Let the people die, if they come in the way.

I'll tell you a quick way? Goto the first floor of your building, and jump. You will break your leg. Then sit and enjoy your holidays.

its pity that the corporation does not take action year after year.
They promise that next year it will not happen like this.
Inspite of all the media coverage and things like people suffering without any shelter the officials do not care for it.
