I don't hear a lot of people calling each other's race "pink" or "brown" but you are right, technically white people are more pink than white and black folk are brown.

    Close enough, right?

All of you make me mad. Not just the people that I quoted, but most of hte people in there. After the last quote that I added, I just scrolled down to type this. If I would actually put into words what I really wanted to say to everyone here, especially the guy who started this, I would get banned from this site until 2010.

First of all, every stupid month except black history month is white history month. You are an 'censor' for bringing it up in the first place. You don't need a month to remember your history, it's being taught in schools every day. If you take history, it's always talking about white people. You got that one little part about the civil rights movement, and then you once again go to the white people.

WET? Again with the 'censor'! Do you know how many white people watch BET? It's not made for black people. It's made for white people. It's to let white people see 'black' television.

Ghettos? They are so dangerous cause there is not enough money to send black children to college, therefore the college fund is made. How many black kids do you see living in rich neibhorhoods? How many do you see driving ferraris and lambhoridinis?

Practically the only sensible thing in your post that you said was the abuse of the word nigger, which now-a-days means absolutely nothing. The whole "you said the word, im gonna kick your ass cause you're racist towards me" is completely out of place. The way people say it now is no more different than from saying hello. The word should just be forgetten instead of being brought up. The way it's used everyday in real life, just causes white people to start using it too. If for example you have a couple of kids playing together (yes white and black) and the black boy says the n-word, than the white kid thinks it's okay, and says it, yet it will be wrong. Tell me, how do you teach your son or daughter not to say the word. How do you even explain to them, that by using the word, even without knowing or intending or meaning it, your child is racially slandering another person? Like I said, this is the only sensible thing in your post. All the rest is garbage. Starting a thread like this just made me angry.

Oh, and just so you know, no im not black. I am as white as it gets. I am just trying to tell you how 'censor' fucked up your life must be for even starting this thread. And everyone who agrees with him, the same goes for you.

Well then I think you chose a great username for yourself. I started this thread to bring up some great points and start a little controversy, but I think hatred (I'm inferring from your statements here) is a little out of line, personally.

Not what it says on my calendar... yet my calendar says "Martin Luther King Jr. Day" (for example), so... where's "White Pride Day"?

Black history is taught in schools every day too. What's your point?

Then how come all I was taught in my history classes was about the civil rights movements and slave trade? (Okay, I'm exagurating a bit, but at least 1/3 of my history classes had something to do with black/colored folk. And we didn't even cover much African/Asian history yet, either! One more year of HS left.)

    See statements above.

    No. Do you?

Oh I get it... so they made BET to entertain the white people... I guess that makes BET racist and prejudiced against the blacks. Wonderful theory. Makes no sense at all.

Part of the reason is the black culture. Culturally, they don't stress hard work or capitalism in their families anymore; mostly, I see that they don't even stress morals a lot of the time! (In the ghettos, that is. Not all blacks.) -- I see more impregnated black young women in our school than white young women. I see more black people living in the "ghettos" because they're on welfare at 32 yrs old.

That's what our society likes to think, but it is a rude slang term.

No, the way it was 50 YEARS AGO was no different than saying "hello" - I find it unfortunate that this was turned into a derogatory term, but nowadays you'll get a very different response if you say that than "Hello".

No, you LET yourself get angry. I never did anything to you... you control your own feelings. Chill. I'm speaking out against political correctness, which is actually more what I think this is about than "racism" to be honest. There's a bigger picture here, and the OP only stands for something much more immense.

Except that you have NO PLACE to judge the quality of our lives compared to yours because YOURS is obviously not the pinnacle of perfection. I think you best keep your comments to yourself and not speak out of anger directly. I have a feeling you took my OP far too literally.

I'm content right now. You are not. So don't go saying my life is 'censored' up.

I am not even gonna continue with responding to all of this, except one part.

Have you ever been to the ghettos? Go there, and live there for 1 or 2 weeks, I want to see how much you would want to wake up every morning, go to work, make money, and even think about morals.

Like I said before, this thread is a waste of time. It's 'censor' and i think that you starting it was just so you can get lots of attention.

Oh, and if anyone's life here is perfect, please stand up and teach me the ways of perfection. If anyone in the damn world is perfect, I want to see them. If you find me someone perfect, I will eat my own words (print them out and eat them) but you cant. Cause no one in the world is perfect, so deal with it. Oh, since it's all free and stuff to do so, I can compare my live to anyone elses life, cause apparently we got that thing, the first amendment. Ever hear of it?

This thread keeps annoying me now. I only wanted to write a little, but I just kept on writing. Arrg.

Well if so, then it's really working well! :D

Obviously that is not my problem, then. If you don't want to be in this thread then stop participating. You're just mad anyway.

Wrong. Most poor people in the US are white. What would it hurt to help poor people? Regardless of race? Poor whites need as much help as any poor non-whites.

Wrong. blacks are ridiculously over-represented in media, TV and entertainment in general. I find many black folks to be excellent entertainers, but where are the Hispanics, Asians and natives etc.? Hispanics are THE LARGEST MINORITY IN THE US yet they can hardly seem to get a break next to blacks.

Ohh yea! I heard promoting white issues was #1 on their agenda. (if you consider lynching whites a "white issue" :D )....

    Me too.

We have a had a national obsession for generations to pull black folk up and spent trillions of dollars doing it but there has to be some balance and sense of fairplay for whites and non-black minorities as well.

    you guys crack me up

White people complaining about how tough they got it.

Every month is white history month in America, there is white pride celebrations what do you think St Patricks day is, or every time there is a Italian, Swedish or German fest.

Its embarrassing that people still think like you guys.

I imagine you probably can't help it, you parents probably think they same way as you do, and you probably aren't exposed to people of other races much.

I do agree with this. The blacks think it's alright to call us Caucasians demeaning terms but yet if we use slander for them they get all mad.

I bet who ever started this thread is a rich, white, mamas boy, who has never stepped out of line, has a porsche sitting in his driveway, and a college fund since before he was born.

Oh noes, this is far too political for the internet.

What I will say is that the OP is correct in stating that there exists a discrimination against the majority. I should know...I'm a white middle-class christian male.

I've heard two black people tell racist jokes in front of a large group of white people. You know what the majority did? They looked at their feet and pretend to not hear them. Myself included.

Here on digital point, and this one pisses me off especially, samantha pia started a thread accusing the male population of the forum of abusing the female members. Ironically enough, samantha is the only member who I've heard gender-based attacks from (only a MAN would think that...). Most of the replies to that thread weren't in anger or insult, they were more along the lines of "what's wrong samantha?" and "I hope you don't get banned samantha..."

Yet again, you're way out of line accusing me of that. You have a lot to learn about the P&R board....

I'm white, yes. But I'm not rich. I'm actually concerned whether I can afford college right now, but I'm hoping that my job will be able to suffice me for a couple years. We don't have a Porsche. I have a '92 Mitsubishi that cost under $2000. And I'm more rebel than you think I am.

I do agree with a lot of your post.

The world needs to think about equal rights because its swung the too far the other way. If i got into a fight with a black person i would instantly be accused of racist. In many peoples eyes its the white person thats the bad guy. Now, If you think like that, Of course i am going to be racist because people are racist to me. Only fair they get it back? eh?

    My 2 cents.

Actually our state is the testing standard of the nation and our district is in the top ten in the state.

I agree with the rest of your post except this part. If we keep re-iterating equal rights, thoughts of racism will keep coming into our minds; we need to stop caring, I think. Just stop caring. Good post.

Ohh bullshit....quit with your self hatred already. No one here has said anything deregotary towards blacks or any non-white so cut the sensitivity BS.

I myself was married for 3 years to Haitian woman who was black as they come. Loved her...still do. Cant count the number of black friends I have had over the years either.

Every month is "white history month"? Cut the crap that is so old and untrue you just sound like an Uncle Tim for the black racists.

Swedish Fest? Well the next time I see a "Swedish Fest" :D I'll make sure it doesn't get outta hand like all the Juneteenth murders. You know those Swedes really are wild....... :D

OH BTW: question, I saw a vending machine at Walmart the other day dispensing stickers for children and they were all Brown pride stickers! Imagine Walmart dispensing WHITE PRIDE stickers for children! I don't think it would happen they would be forced by court order to remove them.

Whos the racists? Not the whites......

A couple generations ago, whites owned black people, straight up owned them, and they could work to them death, fuck them, do whatever they wanted to them

the worst ghettos in the country are black, there are still tons of racist police , most convicts are black, most people on death row are black, but yet way more whites get arrested each year.

There was the KKK enjoying widespread support in the south well after slavery ended, it just became legal for blacks to marry whites in some states like less 30 years ago

Less the 50 years ago it was ok to not hire someone just because you don't like their race, and it was a common practice

And you guys are crying about blacks can make racist jokes and its not fair because you can't share your racist jokes?

    Are you guys serious?

Under the US law, it is illegal to instill hatred comments that can cause violence (even online violence) therefore what he was doing wasn't the same as what I was doing. Simply put: Racism is illegal, he is promoting it.

I don't believe he was intending to promote racism... and I don't believe he is promoting racism.

Controversial topic? You betcha. It is. But P&R IS controversial!

He didn't pop off and talk about how much he hates black people. He was simply making a few points and asking people to debate.
