    Those scripts already exist and they are free, matter to browse sites such as hotscripts, sourceforge.net, planetsourcecode.com, etc. etc.

    Such services are also running since a while, i.e., ebuddy.com (aka e-messenger.net), netmessenger.com and of course MSN has its own online messenger running for years now, webmessenger.msn.com

    making a messenger is easy just use php sockets and if you want a msn messenger just use Windows API programming. It shouldn't take long to make. All you are doing is receiving tcp data and then outputing to the screen. pretty easy.

    where abouts on there site is it?

    i think hes saying will he need a license from Microsoft to access there service such as the .net passport? am i right
