It will not turn me into a Bush lover because I do not support terrorists, no matter who or where they are but it's a step in the right direction.

No doubt the DP sheeple will come out in force :)rolleyes:) but if one of the sheeple's relatives happened to be held in that hellhole for 5 years without charge they would see things from a very different perspective.

About time too! I don't care what the detainees have done, holding someone without trial for 5 years is no kind of justice whatsoever and sets a very dangerous precedent for the future.

If the prisoners are thought to be guilty then put them on trial in good time, let the case be heard and deal with each as the facts dictate.

There's rumours here in the UK of terror laws being changed to allow police to hold 'suspected terrorists' without charge for an indefinite period of time. Sounds good in theory, would probably be beneficial NOW, but open to so much abuse in the future should someone wish to manipulate the situation.

People will just get mad if they release the people there. Oh wait. They are already mad if some are released:

And here I thought Gitmo was the epicenter of torture and abuse.

Some possible bad news for some: "Guantanamo closure 'not imminent'"

If the government decide to close Guantanamo bay after reviewing the situation that's there choice at least it'll be done for the right reasons & not just because they want them all loose because they are innocent, sound familiar:rolleyes:

My relatives would never end up their, but i can't say the same for some others;)

It's about time this concentration camp was closed. The percentage of prisoners tried and convicted is so low (0% i believe, Though i may be wrong) it's obviously just a holding pen for undesirables.

Don't cheer too soon though, You never know who may be the next type of "undesirable" they fill it with.

Not surprising to see a post of AGS in support of terrorists. Is that why you never say a bad word about them, AGS...because you have relatives in there? Wouldn't surprise me.

Don't get too excited for your buds though ;)

I wouldn't mind if they were moved back to real prisons, instead of that resort they live in with "specially" prepared meals every day. They'd get some nice justice in a "real" prison with general population :D

Just goes to show how stupid you are GTech.

If these people are guilty then they deserve what they get but there is still no excuse for torture. Plus if they have been there for over 5 years without a charge being brought against them then they must be released.

Of course most of them were just grabbed and put in there to help aid your terrorist hero George W Bush to try and convince the public that the threat was far greater than it really was.

You should be ashamed of yourself GTech, never a bad word for terrorists Bush and Cheney.

The bay is a nice resort with wonderful views, specially prepared halal meals, recreational facilities and even come complete with the quran...the book that got these nice young heros there in the first place! I'm sure criminals in regular run down prisons that have no choice in their meals would be jealous!

No, it goes to show (once again) who you stand behind and who you support. You didn't answer the question...do you have relatives there?

What torture? Do you have any credible source that says torture takes place there? Not opinion, but credible source? If not, then you are supporting them (again) by asserting there is. Who says five years is enough for a terrorist? You? You want them released? More support?

Yet even more support. Claiming they were "just grabbed and put in there." How do you know? Did alex jones tell you? Supporting terrorists, yet again, by suggesting that Bush wants to convince the world of some non-threat. Meanwhile, at least one guy in there beheaded Daniel Pearle. But, he was just a Jew, right?

No, you should be ashamed of yourself for exposing your support of terrorists even more. Bush and Cheney are only terrorists in your alex jones controlled delusional mind. Meanwhile, you want real terrorists released because you feel sorry for them. Could you expose yourself any more?

Stop supporting terrorism GTech. Every time you offer words of support for Bush you are supporting one of the world's most dangerous terrorists.

There's nothing left to say, AGS. You made clear in that last lengthy post that you are indeed supporting them and you do want their release.

You, are quite clearly, a terrorist supporter. We've all known for a long time, but this one leaves no doubt.

Still didn't answer the question. Do you have relatives in there?

No I don't have relatives in there GTech, but I would love to see your outlook if you yourself had relatives in there that were tortured and held without charge for over 5 years. That would be interesting. You would soon change your tune that is for sure.

If you were not such a Bush Terrorist Supporting sheeple it would be a good thing for you to take 91 minutes away from defending terrorists like Bush here in the DP P&R forum (think you can manage that :p) and watch The Road to Guantanamo.

Your beloved hero Bush is ruining the world and you are either too bind or too stupid to realise that. Or both.

    More support, unsubstantiated.

More support for your buds. There's simply no mistaking it now, is there?

He ruins your bud's plans to blow people up. Just because you are against stopping terrorists from accomplishing their missions, doesn't mean everyone is. Myself, I'm grateful he goes after the kind of people you support.

An all time low for you, AGS. An all time low.

I don't see how anyone who claims to be fighting for freedom can defend a prison system where inmates aren't allowed contact with their family, Contact with a lawyer or even the right to a damn trial.

For someone who is so blindly patriotic, Even in the face of war crimes, How can you defend something so typically anti-American as a bogus, Corrupt and unfair legal system? It's obvious how you do it, You do it by being a hypocrite. Or as Orwell would say, By using doublethink.

    In case you don't read books (and i suspect you don't), GTwat, this is what doublethink is;

I don't defend terrorists stockboy. I leave that up to you and AGS.

BTW, you are referencing "cognitive dissonance." Projecting it upon me to cover for AGS and yourself. That's called "Projectionism," which you probably didn't know either ;)

Anyone who brings up projectionism is simply playing a grown up game of "i know you are, But what am i". It basically means you didn't have the brains to think of saying it first, So when someone else says it about you, You simply claim "projectionism".

"oh oh, That thing what you just said about me... Well, That's what you are!"

I think you have officially run out of anything that even resembles an original thought now.

I'll ask the question again, But no doubt you will refuse to answer it in the knowledge that i have successfully backed you in to a corner using your own arguments against you like i always do. You really are a predictable coward.

For someone who is so blindly patriotic, Even in the face of war crimes, How can you defend something so typically anti-American as a bogus, Corrupt and unfair legal system?
