    If it was perfect it would have more search volume than Google but it doesn't.

    According to google, Yahoo is perfect hence the page rank of 10. However there is always room for improvement. For instance yahoo still has a lot of work to do to catch up to google to recapture a bigger share of the search market.

    OP never said anything about yahoo being a better search engine.

    Well yeah, I mean Yahoo! pretty much equals the internet. When I picture the internet, I picture Yahoo. A portal to everything plus a great search engine. No other website has both.
