help regarding paypal

    paypal have kept a limit that if i want to with draw funds from my paypal account then i should have atleast $500 in my account.If i want to transfer funds from my paypal account to my bank account using xoom what is the limit of funds i should have in my paypal account ?i am from india :confused:

    Like I said in your prior post, using Xoom is not technically a transfer but a sale and you are subjected to the same conditions for any purchases you make using paypal. In the case of paying Xoom, there is no minimum limit on your account and you do not have any minimum you need to have in your account. However, Xoom requires a minimum sum of $25 and that is all you need to worry about. I am sure you are aware that Xoom charges $8 per transaction (for amounts up to $500).

    Remember, sending money to Xoom is not a 'transfer', it is a sale/purchase contract. Xoom is not part of Paypal and Xoom is not an official means of withdrawing funds.

    many people using xoom to receive their funds from paypal tp their bank account or delivery.

    That limit wont be counted to your withdrawl limits since its NOT withdrawl. You're buying funds in your local currency. ALos, Xoom is NO WAY associated with PayPal.

    so if my paypal account have less than $100 then can i buy the funds from paypal using xoom?does paypal object?

    Yes u can transfer $100 from Paypal to XOOM.As Eddy told minimum amount is $25 only.

    Let me repeat what I say again, it appears that you may not have understood.

    Xoom is not part of Paypal. Xoom is just another seller where you 'buy' the transfer. You can buy anything for any amount as long as you have the money in your paypal account or credit card. This means that even if it is $0.25, you can do so. Paypal only cares if you have enough money to pay your expenses.

    If you want to send $100 to Xoom then you have to be sure you have $100 in your Paypal account. If you want to send $30 to Xoom then you need to have $30 in your account.

    Why do you think Paypal will object ? Does Paypal object if you pay some Paypal approved merchant ?

    thanks eddy for clearing our doubts.i am indian.for indians to withdraw money from their paypal account they should have atleast $150 in their paypal account .now i can transfer my funds from paypal to xoom even if i have less than $150.:p.now one more question.i have VISA ELECTRON debit card.can i use this to verify my paypal account?:confused:
