How much have you made so far?

Just out of curiosity and experimenting what type of make money online is most profitable, I want to know, how much have you made off of your Directories?

If you could answer these questions, I would appreciate it greatly, as this is solely for an educational purpose:

    URL(Free Advertising :D ):
    Total Revenue Made:
Initial Investment Total(How much you spent to make your directory):
    Establish Date:

You probably wonder, "What type of purpose will you serve with all this data?". Because you always see how much people make of adsense, blogs, and websites, and you don't really see the Top 10 Directory Whores List, I wanted to know what you guys make. I look at all the major directories, and don't see something that special, like Aviva Directory is only Pagerank 6, I wonder how much they make. thanks.

Since someone asked also, I will put my stats here to open up (my first directory):

    URL: www.fantasy-pc.com/directory
    Total Revenue Made: 120$
Initial Investment: Including Link Building around 50$
    Establish Date: 11-12-06

Oh cmon guys, let's be realistic.

I wanted to see if making a directory is profitable, as I haven't made too much, and wanted to see what the highest you guys have made. Is that too much to ask?

    Oh, well I wasn't aware.

I wasn't mentioning this like a job, just out of a general sense. If Aaron can do it why can't you?

I think you should start off by telling what you make, it might help others open up.

In all fairness it no different that walking up to a person on the street and asking how much they make. Did you really expect us all to pour out what we make?

The biggest directories make a killing... the rest of us break even IF we are lucky.

    aaron_nimocks, you must be joking!
I spent a hell of a lot more than that and I am no where near even breaking even yet. "Initial" I believe is the key word... otherwise a hell of a lot of people really like you.

It isn't all that rude, looking at everyone brags how much they make on adsense, and there is an entire forum directed toward Reporting/Stats. Also there are many lists on how much people make revenue off of. Many blogs have updated amounts of how much they make every month.

What is rude is to go up to someone on the street, if your a Cardiovascular Surgeon and ask a Merchant what he makes.

And if aaron did not share his info, you wouldn't be contemplating on how such a small investment can create 6000$+. It makes you wonder ;), thats why this would be helpful.

    Correct...
I figured out what the major problem with asdsense is...
Google says it wants its ads to "attract clicks" naturally. But just about every can spot an adsense ad a mile away and wont click them anymore unless they are desperate for what they are looking for. Google doesnt help in the least by forcing everyone to display "Ads by Google" either.

    You are my HERO!

    URL: http://www.ruuz.com

    Est Date: Nov 2005.

Spent $150 for directory submission for it and I myself made many links for it.

Earned around 2K from it till now. My pricing is $25 for one year and the customers who had purchased links from my directory did renewed their listing for the other year as well.
