First of all, I think you're receiving more criticism than you deserve. If you would have said that you wanted someone to teach you how to make thousands of dollars every month, you would have deserved to be criticized. Your goal of $300 a month is extremely realistic and obtainable, even for someone that has minimal online experience.

Since you said that you can work 2 hours a day and a little more on the weekend (we'll say 6 hours total each weekend), that would give close to 70 hours of online working time each month.

If you're going to stick with something like the forum posting service you mentioned, you will only need to make less than $4.50 an hour. Since you could make more than this working at McDonald's, it should be easily obtainable.

The additional option you have is creating a blog or web site. This option is more popular for online entrepreneurs because it allows you to earn passive income. This means that instead of trading your hours for dollars, you can put time into a project that will eventually earn money even when you are not directly working on it.

If the idea of creating a blog or web site appeals to you, you should take the time to read this blog post by Jennifer Slegg: http://www.jenniferslegg.com/2007/0...get-started-in-the-world-of-online-marketing/

It is a realistic, step-by-step approach to planning and creating a blog or web site.

If you have any other questions, feel free to post them in the thread and I'll do my best to answer them for you (I prefer this instead of PMs because it allows other DP members to benefit from the discussion).

A few people don't "like" you? And you're using my line and throwing it back in my face after I helped you via PM's?

    You're kidding, right?

I don't see anywhere in this thread where someone said they didn't like you. Constructive criticism isn't a bad thing. You are going to hear it all the time in the "real world." Toughen up and take it.

How about writing articles. I mean, if you take up a regular order of article writing for some one, then you can earn a constant income.

I know of a way to do so but you will have to PM me. If you do it in the way I am thinking, you should be able to make at least a grand a month, but this will increase with your reputation.

i may give you a lot of ideas but if all you got is "2 hours a day... " then its gonna be hard. if you have talent(Design and Php), try designing some WORDPRESS Themes and theb selling sponsors links, even if you design only 3 "good themes" per month, you gonna make more than $300/month, but if you have no knowledge or talent at all then forget about it.

That's a pretty shithead way to talk to people, especially after some have offered you help here dude.

Remember, nobody here owes you any favours, remember that. ;)

I see loads of posts like this from nooobs asking for help then becoming abusive.

It was the STFU that got me.

The guy comes asking for help, people help him and then the prick starts spouting crap like that.

    What a wanker. :(

It pissed me off. Especially since I have a feeling that comment was directed towards me (I used the I'm not harsh, just realistic line in my first comment towards him.)

The guy even private messaged me and I sat with him and chatted for a few. I thought we came to a pretty good understanding. Apparently I was wrong!

It pisses me off when people have offered their help and he turns around and acts like an asshole.

Some peeps are just too ungrateful. :(

It's a shame we are all living in cyberworld and not all together in a commune because I would find him and kick him up the arse for being an ungrateful prick. :)
