yeah, AMD was more for gamers..But I think was intel core duo came out, AMD was left in the dust..If you're just a normal computer user, it doesn't really matter..Both are good
I go with Intel, but to be honest, to me its the computer spped and processor power rather than the manufacterer that matters.
i have bought a brand new pc last week from future shop. Its Hp computer. Dual core 2 processor 2Gb Ram 680 Gb space included 22 inchi Samsung wide screen lcd monitor. 4 years warranty, cost me $2281 canadian what you think?
Isnt that alittle more expensive? Making your own computer wouldve cost you less and you couldve bought more stuff for your comp using that money. I like your HD space (I got only 40gb ) Anyways, that my opinion, It should run fine and games will run fine aswell, so if you like it keep it, or return it and research more and get a better one
If you like to throw your money away on "equivalent processing power" then go with AMD. If you want the real deal go with Intel. I have Intel Core 2 duo in my laptop and I have yet to see any amd garbage to beat it.
yah i know $2281 CDN look kinda expensive. but i had 4 years warrenty which cost you $300 alone. And 22 inch Samsung Wide screen lcd monitor cost $400 and the desktop machine cost $1200 1900 + tax
I have a dual core AMD on my PC, and Intel in my laptop. To be honest there isn't a lot between the two manufacturers.
The latest Intel Dual Core CPU's are really good. Even the cheap E6600. In August Quad Cores price's will drop.
