Few weeks ago I have developed website related to insurance. It took a lot of time and money to get some traffic just to realize google is paying me only $.50 per click. Is this because my website is only one month old? Or maybe I need to improve my content. Currently I have only 10-11 articles. Any input is welcome!!!
$0.5 a click is not "only"...it is pretty good. Adwords bids for content network are lower compared to bids for Google network. In fact, I believe your cpc will go down as time passes.
Hu??? I have 2 sites that are not using any high paid CPC and are averaging over $1 per click. Sites are about 2 years old.
Then you need to concentrate on building more traffic to those sites! Many people here (myself included) would give their left-mouse-button for an epc that high!
Then I must congratulate you. You are doing exceptionally well. . My best paying site averages only 30-40 cents a click (I got a few finance related sites too).
Problem with those sites is traffic. I can't get more than 50-60 unique so I'm averaging about 2 clicks per day. I just don't understand how all these MFA are operating. I'm spending weeks to build a decent site and need to be happy with .5 per click? They are spending 2-3 hours coping contest from other sites and are making thousands?
It "economy of scale". Most MFA site owners have dozens (some have hundreds) of MFAs. The click value would depend on traffic source and keywords that brought the traffic.
If you are comparing yourself with other people who makes MFA sites, even legit sites that have unique content, they are able to make many sites and are "making thousands" because are have a good system. So they are most likely outsourcing all the content creation and have a team to put the sites together.
I'd be stoked if any of my sites got .5 a click. Maybe try maximizing your traffic or researching the keywords you want and lacing your articles with them. I know that worked for me in my college success site, although there i moved from .3 a click to .4
Insurance is a high paying keyword man. I believe you did some research in the past to search for the best keyword before you start. My suggestion will be focus more on SERP. High paying keyword does not guarantee anything because of competition.
If i was getting $0.50 per click i would have bought my second home by now, this is a good return and one to be happy with!
I cant understand that too. Do you use that kind of sites ? I dont use that sites for myself if i need any information .. But I wish good luck all in business.
0.5 is great earning per click. i think you must add more content to your site and you must so many visitors to earn from the adsense
