what is your site category? i think one of the important points for adsense earning is the site category
upload site.. I have a text (actually an ad) on debt consolidation so most of the ads the appear on the site is for debt consolidation
It really depends on the type of site you have. If I get around 200 visitors I can get $3 - $4. However, I know a guy who runs a kids site and gets over 5000 visitors daily and makes about $3 - $4 (this is largely due to poor ad optimization IMO). But the point is, depending on the content of your site will make your $$$ go up or down.
I have Last Month i got 12725 unique visitors and earned $95.64 average 4-5 dollars a day with CTR 5.08%. I dont know how can i improve it. Can anyone let me know what could be the problem. www.dramaybaaz.com
This could actually be normal it really depends on what keywords you are getting. I've owned proxies that have gotten 4k visitors and only 4 dollars a day with low click thru even with optimized ad placement. A similar proxy however was getting mesothelomia keywords by tricking google somehow (this proxy was not mine or affiliated with me) and was making 15 dollars a day off 300 visitors.
A finance website will always do better than a wallpaper site.. And if your clicks pay less, there is not much you can do. You don't want TWO adsense blocks next to each other right before the content. I mean, it must be just that the ads don't pay well.. I would suggest that you use Link Units smartly. Say one vertical link unit in the side bar at the start of the sidebar. And add one Horizontal Link Unit right below the Header. there is where navigation links are put by many Websites, so those have proven to increase CTR immensely, at least with me. You can increase the overall earnings by signing up with CPM ads from tribalfusion or casalemedia. Some extra from Kontera, and I guess you will start getting 10 a day easily. If you wish to apply to Tribalfusion or casalemedia, make sure you have a good website design.. One that don't look unprofessional.. And not with toooooo many adsense blocks
I agree with a previous poster, you need to have a banner on top since it looks like at the moment you cant post a unit in the upper left (which is always a good spot). Check out my blog in my signature. Its newer so not much traffic yet but it may give you some ideas.
Hi Thats way too low. My sites only have about 200 uniques a day and I am getting an average of 15/day with this numbers. CTR is about 15-25% on the average. As mentioned, maybe u have to change ur ads placement
I really don't believe that person who has 15-25% CTR has "real website". That's made for adsense spamy site. So I would say that your earning are normal. Don't stick with just Adsense, you can make a lot more - believe me. Normal sites which has quality content, where visitors are more important than adding tons of ads on every corner decent CTR should be around 1% to max. 2.5%. I have around 3000 pageviews a day, and I make 2$/day from Adsense (more or less). I make much more from Chitika and TTZ. CPC s around 0.10$
