    to be honest i haven't worked with blogger yet but if it lets you to change and modify template files you can use this code:
    <meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="1;url=YourSite.com" />

    That's actually not a good way to redirect any site, speaking seo-wise.

    Did you check which header the redirect was returning?

    Due to hijacking and over abuse of meta-refresh and Javascript redirects in cloaking instances, the proper way to do it is through the use of a 301 Permanent redirect in the HTTP headers.

    Did I do what by myself? I was saying that using meta refreshes was a bad idea, and I also asked you if you checked the headers on the redirect you said you did, here:

    Do you know which method of redirect is being used when you do it the way you said was very simple?

    Did you check to see what headers are being returned after you do that though?

    Enter your Blogger URL, the one you redirected, into this tool:

    http://www.bad-neighborhood.com/header_detector.php

    Look and see what the headers are it returns, let us know please. :)

    And that first line is the one that matters the most, thanks. :D

    Yep, looks like they are def doing it the right way then:

    That is what is considered the "search engine friendly" way to redirect a webpage.

    Emphasis very much on the pray.

    But if it works you will get the correct 301 header.

    Wondering if you got the same Pr and your backlinks are in tact?

    I am always afraid of switching my PR6 blog to a proper domain .com
