one of my friend reach $100/day two months ago, but what the most surprising me is now he earns almost $1000/day, it's amazing. I know most of people earn only several bucks a day. So do you think how many dollars a day from adsense is good enough?

Maybe he had a big traffic spike and he made 1000$ in one day. I know a lot of people who make 10$/day and from time to time they get a big traffic spike and their earnings can get 10x. If he got 1000$ day constantly that's a real good thing ... Depends on your lifestyle, on what are you spending your money, what do you want to buy, etc. I think that if you get 100$ per day you'll want 200$, and so on ..

It depends on how much your want. If you want to only earn $40 a day then that is good enough, but even if you get that you would like more. The more you get the better I say. If you get $1,000,000, then you can start giving it to family and charity if you have more than what you need.
it also depends on how much is being spent on advertising, someone may earn $1,000/day but spends $750/day on advertising.
It's impossible to make $1000/day for me. I can't believe it before, and now I'm sure some guys indeed make big money from adsense. I know he has a main portal site and several niche sites. not blogs.
