    He's kind of out of the element he's looking for with the recommendations given. I pointed out in another thread that he needs to find blogs which cater to the same audience he's marketing to, rather than going out and just paying the most popular bloggers in general for reviews and/or links.

    It really depends on the niche you're in...

    If you wish the influential sites in your niche to link to you, my advice would be : get social with bloggers in your niche to build authority and focus on quality content that is highly linkworthy. Make it worthwhile for the influential blogs you're after to link to you, basically.
