Women face a lot of opposition to excel in a professional field which is traditionally considered as male bastion. They are exceptionally sincere and committed and have a greater EQ. However most of them have to compromise on their career due their personal relation. Finally its upto the individual to prove its potential. Women leaders are still in small numbers. Judgement has to be reserved till they get ample oppoertunities to prove themshelf.
What? Compromise their career due to their personal relation? Do you mind clarifying what you are trying to say please?
with all due respect you belong to a very progressive society. But in several parts of the world people still view women as a home maker. I have myself seen several colleauges of mine give up their job after giving birth to a child. its a harsh reality in our part of the world. Very few women make it to the top.
true! they are organize, good decision maker, very calm when something came up, and majority will surely follow a woman leader.
I thought that's what you were trying to say. I wasn't entirely sure because the phrasing was a bit off. Believe me. I am no stranger to the fact that a lot of people still believe a woman's place is in the home. But I would never sacrifice my career for the sake of dishes, cooking and laundry.
Thats because you have the courage to stand up to your opinions and your beliefs. I wish you have a very blossoming career and at no point of time have to compromise on your career. I hope your work makes a difference!
I hope to see your opinions and ideals translate into substantial results. Try to motivate other females if you are in a position to do so.
Margaret Thatcher was very unpopular but she always had the courage and conviction to follow through on what she said. Like her or hate her, I think she's the best Prime Minister Britain has had in my lifetime.
I think it's silly to mistake genetics that determine what fiddly bits you have as being the same genes that determine whether or not you're a better leader. I think that being a leader is a quality that develops given one's parentage, upbringing, peers and experience. I'm willing to believe that genetics does play a factor in it, as genes do influence who we find attractive, and who we generally trust (it's been shown that you're more likely to trust a person who looks like you or like they're related to you), but I do not believe that the X/Y chromosomes have that much sway.
