How comfortable are you with your laptops?

Booming sales of laptops have led to surge in the number of computer users with back and muscle problems. Millions of others are at risk of “irretrievable damage” to their spines, necks and shoulders because of poor posture when using laptops.

Do you suffer from laptop related pain or is there anyone whom you know is a victim of laptop related pain? What do have to sat to the above mentioned topic?

I make sure I sit up straight like a good boy when using my laptop - my spine is trashed enough already from too many years riding skateboards and BMXs.

"irretrievable damage"? How about irreversible :p

Quite comfortable, although they do have a tendancy to fry your testicles if you do actually use them on your lap!

Try designing with a laptop's touchpad, your wrist start to hurt after hours... It's quite painful. More painful with my smaller laptop :p

I kind of felt some pain in my arms and back a few years back, but I solved that problem quite easily. Staring going to gym! not only will you get yourself in great form and shape its essential for webmasters who spend lots of time at their PCs to stretch and work those muscles correctly.

Why not get a USB mouse? I could never imagine working with that horrid touch pad.

You business woman you! Designing while flying around on planes :D ehehe

But I know what you mean, I got used to working with frontpage, and although I have used dreamweaver and know its much better I'm usually in a hurry when working so I don't have the time to "figure out" where certain things and options are on dreamweaver.... so I always end up going back to that "crappy" frontpage. lol

It only happen once... I hope to never work during vacation again (which will probably.. not come true :p)

Haha, great analogy with the frontpage vs. dreamweaver. IT's hard to adjust after you've so familiar/comfortable with one thing eh?
