Jesus had sex? You're going to hell for even thinking this.

There is no evidence to this that is sustainable. Besides, it does not harmonize with the entire Bible.

Nicely put. But I'm afraid you're also going to hell.

Surely celibate priests don't 'crack a nut'? What would the children think?

I believe it is entirely plausable. So much time has passed we may never know one way or the other for sure.

Jesus was a great person who professed love and peace. his teaching influence a lot of people everyday.

i'm catholic and frankly i'm not sure if he was married or not. but it doesn't matter. it doesn't take away what he did.

just like mohammed? what do you know about Mohammed or Islam apart from what you see on CNN and Foxnews? I have a lot of muslim friends. here's the problem with their religion:

Politics. In the name of politics, muslim clerics interpret the Quran in all sorts of ways convenient to them. and then they use the biggest weapon of politics, war.

Lets say the Taliban win and get total control of Afghanistan, do you really think Osama will be president of the country? NO. It will be some muslim cleric.

If you actually read what Mohammed had to say, you'll see that there was no violence. Jihad means holy war, but not a violent war. it means that one should spread the word about the religion. It is a symbolic war on all other religions.

And forget the religion Christianity. Lets talk about what Jesus taught. Was there ever any violence about it? All the violence has been brought about by corrupt leaders of the church, especially the Catholic church.

Every religion has been corrupted by politics, but if you go back to the roots of it all, you'll see that it was totally different.

ok, firstly the da vinci code was a book, so should not be taken seriously re: the jesus and mary magdalene thing, and secondly jesus has been in my opinon misrepresented by the catholic religion for years, and mary magdalene as well. i mean they were so obviously freedom fighters, intent upon ending the roman occupation and forming a new type of judasim, not christianity!
you only have to look at that part of the world historically and the nature of the semitic tribes to see that is far more likely than some softly softly prophet who advised people to turn the other cheek! and of course mary magdalene would have been a fellow freedom fighter, cast in the role of whore by the catholic church so as to keep women in their place as subordinates to men.
