If a New TLD was introduced...

Hypothetical situation. Lets say a new, generic TLD was introduced. Say .dom meaning domain. What would be the first name you would register? Business.dom is the obvious one. What else would you register?

most of the good ones will already be registerd.

i will try my hands on sex, poker, adult, XXX,

it purely depends on the price that they are charging

.tel is going to be a new TLD.

I would register some short generic names with high potential.

I believe TLDs became too much targeted on industries that start to loose focus. For example i don't like the .mobi TLD, now the .tel

gooogle.tel will not help you raise your paypal but loose your house, car, computer and possible take a loan too to pay the fines

Seriously dig around to see that it's not even a joke to register google related name typos or not.

 Thats one name I would keep well away from ... Google aren't like Myspace who don't seem to worry about all the Myspace type domains that are registered.

    1. google will probably register the name when the registry asks all the TM owners to register the names.. that is well before the general public gets a chance.

    2. even if you manage to reg it, google will take the domain away from you in maximum few days with a lot of law suits :)
