So the rains are here and like everything else it's just going to get messy going out and hanging around. What better way to spend time inside your house than with a pool table.

Have been a big pool fan all my life and never miss a chance to play it while am out or at someone's place.

So, this season am finally getting a sexy pool table installed in my residence.Have got a lot of work to take care of this season, so what better way to stay at home. :)

Been quoted various prices from $700 to $2500. Been to the gallery and like one with a blue cloth that's excessively elite. The salesman said that it's gonna cost me around $1300, but IMO it's worth the investment. It's 9ft x 4ft - 6inches and a lovely piece of art with fiber finishing. Black border and silve-grey holes are another feature.

So who else has a pool table at home ? Your experiences. Who else loves pool ?

    Cheers,
    Abhi

    Ask me about it.
I have been in this game for over 10 years now. Although I am not a die hard pool fan. I have been playing snooker all along.

I dont have Snooker table at my place, although I have thought several times about buying one. But the thing is, once you have it at your place, you just loose the charm.
I go out to the club, meet a few friends and play.
I know quite a few friends who own Snooker parlours. I have gone with them when they buy snooker tables. I would suggest, if you choose to get it assembled, make sure you use the best quality slates and the best quality cloth for the table.

But if you are going in for a pool table, I would rather suggest you go in for a 9 ball table. They are a little low in height than standard pool table and have a slightly bigger pockets as well.

Brunswick are best in the class. Although, they don't come cheap.

A decent 9 ball table should cost you around 100,000 INR.

And the picture you posted in the post, is off a snooker table. ;)

My dad is a big fan and when he had no one to play with he "made" me play. My family has moved to NY but i still have that table here but i got it moved to garage now :D I know he will be mad because he paid a lot for that and for professional assembly too but i dont use it so :D. Its good game though but not a lot of fun. It gets booring if you play everyday.
