If they are allowed, I would at least hope people would put some sort of description stating they are adult. I use DP mostly at work and would hate to click on naughties in front of my nerdy, stuffy coworkers....
Hi, apologies for butting into this thread but could I enquire if someone would define 'adult'. I have set up as an affiliate with an adult toys website. The website sells 'toys' of an adult nature but is not pornographic. Any images with any 'sensitive' body parts are distorted so as not to offend. Could anyone tell me if this sort of site would be acceptable as a signature link. I would also describe the site in the link to help people know what they are clicking on. Any help on this would be greatly welcomed.
Lol so many assumptions why not some moderator just reply and close this thread with the exact rule? Unless moderators are not aware of rules themselves, which would be funny situation.
I have seen adult/mature/sex material linked in DP signatures. maybe its a "don't ask don't tell" policy.
Even i saw few members having adult site links on there signature. Did you PM a moderator ? If you did then pretty much they don't know OR there is no rule about it. p.s.: 200th post DarkX
Sig and live link guidelines. Our system has automatic signature guideline enforcement. Currently the restrictions are: * Up to 250 characters * No more than 3 lines * No more than 4 links * Images are not allowed Signatures and live links within posts are not available to users until they have been a member at least 7 days, have positive (green) reputation and have at least 10 posts.
I have just added a signature to my account. I will post if any problems arise. If any one wishes to post once signature is live if it offends or they think it doesn't describe the fact that it is an adult link allbeit not pornography.
I suppose its just like one of those situations where you are forced to say " No Comments" to the Media, thats probably why not even a single mod cared to come here and post 1 simple reply, yes or no ?
