What good social bookmarking play in SEO ?

hi,guys I want to know whats the advantages of Social bookmarking in Search Engine Optimization.As far as I know they help to index new sites in search engines very fast.Please write your views and what you think are the advantages of them Awaiting for answers from experts in this forum

 

Indexing new sites is one advantage, but what about the one way links they generate to your site. This can be a huge advantage if you take the time to set it up properly.

Make sure if your doing this, that you are posting from a relevant section from a social bookmarking site i.e. choose the correct category, etc to ensure that the search engines see the link as relevant.

Social book markings will give an SEO a good huge traffic for the site.

 

Advantages of social media are really quick indexing, ability to show your best articles to the great amount of people and to get great exposure that can bring you traffic. And if you are really good some of visitors can become your permanent visitors and customers.

 

Fast indexing, one way Link building and good traffic. What else you want?

generally having a bunch of bookmarks or just submissons to various SB sites will indeed help get indexed and increase your link popularity, but if you manage to get featured on front page you'll get a bunch strong links and various links from other sources, due to high exposure on social media.
You can get thousands of strong links for being on front page of digg.com
