If you have a dog and a cat and you loved them both very much and one had to go for whatever reason. Which would you choose and why? Me, I choose the dog. Mainly because cats are less messier...LOL Col
I'm a cat person. But if I ever had a dog (which I never will), it would be an Irish Wolf Hound - and I love those dogs, so it would be a tough decision. The cat would win though.
Cats are little serpents of the devil, I can't stand them. Cats dont care about you, they have no personality and they certainly wouldnt give a damn if someone broke into your house and slit your throat right in front of them. Dogs are loyal, highly intelligent and if you have developed a bond with one it will protect you to the death.. Bin the cat.
My Mum lives in a retirement village but needed to have her cat rehomed. One of the other old ladies said she'd take the cat but then her neighbour said she'd kill the cat. Mmmmm Nice! One way to get on with your neighbours!
I have had 4-5 cats, 1 moma and 4 children. Later I had only 2 cats left. Both kitten used to listen to my commands, if wanted to go to the loo they used do meow..its upto how ur cats are trained. In a car, Imagine if u stop in the highway to take the pets for a small loo round, you can take the dog in the chain, it will not run, but a Cat cannot be in chain and it may and 90% chances it may try to play around and run here-there, could be a pain to get him back into the car. Hence I prefer dogs for long journey rounds and cat for smaller rounds. But I love Cats MORE!
And that's a bad thing? I like cats because humans are totally irrelevant to them. If a cat doesn't like you, then you just don't cut it.
ever heard it said that if an owner dies and is left locked in a room with his pet cat for days, the cat will start to eat the owner to stay alive whereas a dog will die beside him. so it has to be a dog - on account of i don't fancy being eaten by my pet.

Right.. I have both cats and dogs.. I must admit while my gray hounds are Good for security of my household, they are plain dumb.. there is no fun in playing with them. Where my cats are so funny that they always make me laugh.. They look prettier too. I love my cats more.. You're so wrong.. Cats arent evil and they do care about you, at least my cat does. Whenever I'm ill, she sits besides me always and even doesnt eat well. she knows when I am in good mood, or I'm sad or I'm angry and behaves accordingly... You just need to make a bond with them as you do to your dogs..
