need help with selling website

hi everyone, im relatively new to the website buisness and still dont know what the appropriate price to sell a website of mine is. please if you can, can you give me a semi-accurate appraisal of my site.

details:
Um...the website i am looking to be appraised is a proxy. it is relatively new, having been started near the begining of may. it gets about 500 uniques a day and about 3000 pageviews a day. it averages 5 U.S. dollars per day for a total of like 250 dollars in its two months since its start. if i am giving it with 12 months of hosting and an extra year before the domain expires, how much could i sell it for? thanks in advance!

 

Never sold a website before so don't take my word for it:
Proxies usually sell for about 6 months revenue but:
-you are providing hosting & paying domain for extra year
-proxies lose traffic during summer (due to school holidays)

I'd say around $750 but I am not sure it'll be easy to find someone who would want to buy a proxy now. Maybe keep it until September and sell it then

oh yeah about that traffic going down in the summer, that doesnt really happen with me. my site is pretty much the opposite lol. my traffic has like doubled since summer started.

Might be your proxy among the few ones who are still running during the summers....lol

 

Proxies will be worth less than content sites given similar traffic and revenue.

 

developing a content site to this traffic is difficult than proxy.hence I agree with you
